One of the biggest problems during my first triathlon was finding time to re-hydrate without having to stop and waste time drinking from my water bottle. Since then I've been looking for alternatives from experienced triathletes and these are the best options I've found.
First is the Profile Designs Aerobar Water Bottle Adapter.
As you can see it mounts between the aerobars and points straight up with a straw so you don't have to detach the bottle to drink while you ride. This is a good system because you don't have to decrease your velocity to hydrate, something that can potentially shave minutes off your overall finish time. Also, in my case, it means no more reaching below me and grabbing a water bottle and having to put it back in the bottle mount when I'm done. Not only does this require me to slow way down, but also runs the risk of me dropping my water bottle and having to finish the race with no fluids.
Altogether this system will run you about $30 and you can find it here.
The next option is probably my favorite, but also a little more expensive. It's called the Speedfil Hydration System.

This is my favorite system because it holds up to 40oz and has tubes that can run right up next to your aerobars. You attach it to the water bottle mounts and you can purchase a neoprene cover that will keep the fluids cold while riding. The fluids come out of the top of the tube from a bite valve which makes hydrating easier than ever. Possibly the best advantage it has over the aerobar water bottle mount is the aerodynamics. With a bottle sticking up between your aerobars you'll create a lot of drag which slows you down as you ride. The speedfill system creates no drag which ultimately means higher velocity and a quicker bike-leg of the race.
This system will cost you about $100 and is going to be more beneficial the longer the race is you're competing in. You can find it here and for a more in depth overview of the system, check out this video.
